Na verdade, é 1.024 kHertz, ou 1,024 MHz (um pouco mais de 1 MHz).
O que você escreveu é 1,024 kHz.
Essa confusão ocorre porque, como você certamente sabe, os Americanos colocam ponto no lugar de vírgula e vice-versa.
